Through the efforts of our committees, we serve our membership and enhance an environment of professional development.

Communications Committee
The Communications Committee handles all internal and external communications for the chapter, including advising members of upcoming meetings and other important information, and supervising public relations activities.
Education Committee
The Education / Student Outreach Committee is responsible for outreach to higher education institutions to promote the risk management and insurance industry, including through student scholarships and local industry events.
Golf Outing Committee
Responsible for planning MN RIMS's annual golf outing which generates revenue to help support the chapter's activities and offers networking opportunities in a social atmosphere.
Membership Committee
The MN RIMS Membership Committee is responsible for membership outreach, tracking and development.
Nominating Committee
The Nominating Committee is responsible for identifying members to serve on the chapter's board of directors, and presenting these nominees to the board each year
Programs Committee
The MN RIMS Programs Committee develops topics and content presented to members at our meetings. The Programs Committee's mission is to advance the risk management profession through networking, education and professional development by organizing monthly programs with topics that are of interest to our members.
Seminar Committee
The Seminar Committee oversees the scheduling and development of Minnesota RIMS's annual seminar, a half-day event that brings together risk professionals from around the region.
The seminar includes speakers, sessions on topics of importance to the profession, and networking opportunities.
